A 5-Day Workshop for High School Students
Youth Job Connection: Summer (YJCS) provides summer, part-time, and after school job opportunities for high school students. Through a series of workshops, YJCS prepares students to enter the labour market while balancing their education.
You’ll get:
- 20 hours of paid pre-employment training to promote job-readiness
- Job matching and paid job placements
- Mentoring
- Education/work transitions supports
Open to high school students, ages 15-18, intending to return to high school or enrolling in post-secondary education after their participation in the program. Must be an Ontario resident and eligible to work in Canada.
